The AVTEK 5700-PP Combination Air Valve ensures efficient air management in pipelines with intelligent anti-slam protection. Its aerodynamic, full-bore single chamber body design prevents premature closures during high-velocity air intake and discharge. The valve’s triple-function design allows:
- Air release during normal operation to remove accumulated pockets and maintain efficiency.
- Large-volume air discharge during filling to prevent system stress.
- Rapid air intake during draining or pipe bursts to avoid vacuum conditions.

Precision polypropylene float with integrated upper disk, guided by internal ribs for stability, ensuring consistent performance under varying pressures.
- Body Design
Single-chamber glass-reinforced polypropylene body rated to 250 psi, offering superior corrosion and chemical resistance while remaining lightweight and durable.
- Anti-Slam Protection
Polypropylene anti-slam device with threaded 2″ connection automatically controls air outflow velocity during filling, reducing water hammer risk and protecting the pipeline.
- Protective Features
Optional protection grid prevents debris entry while allowing unrestricted air flow. All wetted components are non-corrosive and certified for potable water use (NSF/ANSI 61 & 372).
